Just four remain for Lawrence

Jermaine Lawrence, one of the best available power forwards, narrowed his list of schools to four.

Just four schools remain in contention for Jermaine Lawrence.

The five-star recruit out of Sparta (N.J.) Pope XXIII has entertained interest from a host of high major schools. On Thursday he cut his list down to UNLV, St. John's, Syracuse and Cincinnati.

Lawrence confirmed the news via Twitter.

Lawrence has yet to take an official visit. He has taken unofficial visits to Syracuse and St. John's. Lawrence also noted on Twitter that he will doesn't plan to make a college choice until the spring.

Lawrence is ranked No. 17 overall and as the No. 7 power forward in the 2013 class.
